Program prices for students from countries of the European Economic Area
Students from countries of the European Economic Area (EU and EFTA member states) are covered by insurance under the statutory health insurance scheme in Germany. This reduces the program price by € 400 for the school year program and € 200 for the semester program.
Included in the price:
- Arrangement of a selected host family with free accommodation and meals (the host family receives a salary)
- Placement at a German high school and school registration
- Introductory 3 days orientation meeeting in Oldenburg, including accommodation, full board, orientation and leisure program, transfers
- train ticket for transfer from Oldenburg to the place of residence of the host family
- Accident and liability insurance
- Health insurance if you don´t possess a European Health Insurance
- Costs of extending the residence permit
- Support and advice
- Written information about the host family
- Online interview short after receiving the application
- ICX Manual
Not included in the price:
- Cost of the return trip to/from Germany
- Pocket money (about € 200 per month)
- books and course material
- bus-pass or other travel expenses between school and host family
- preparatory German courses if needed
Payment
- 500 € after receipt of the invoice
- 1/3 of the program price until February 28th for August entry, until September 30th for January entry
- 1/3 of the program price until April 30th for August entry, until October 31st for January entry
- remaining program price until July 15th for August entry, until December 15th for January entry
